What to expect: A wide, dense buffer of lush landscaping around the acreage helps conceal the fact that this hotel is just minutes from nearby attractions. After long days in the theme parks, families congregate around the large, heated, freeform pool that features a waterfall and slides. Amenity highlights: Along with the meandering pool and entertaining slides, there is a second, “quiet” pool; two outdoor spas; and a sauna. A children’s wading pool, game room, and playground make this resort even more family-friendly, but it’s the free breakfast and dinner for children 10 and younger in two of the restaurants that confirms it. Free shuttles deliver guests straight to the theme parks.
